On his painting, Purwa observes the body in details and at the same time building a strong sensation that will eventually lead to a nuance where the bodies are no longer visually explored by the audience but more on the symbolic-philosophy. Bodies on Purwa's works are both portrait and methapor: image of ideal and beautiful body, appearance of adaptation to dynamic life, and also place of true existence.
